What if your boldest idea isn’t just a daydream but tomorrow’s reality waiting to be built?

In a world where “impossible” is just a word waiting to be redefined, Sterling Bank invites you to a day with those who didn’t just dream they dared to DO.

The Sterling Leadership Series returns this quarter with “The Audacity to Do: A Fearless Generation,” featuring the remarkable Zuriel Oduwole filmmaker, education advocate, and now a 2025 Nobel Peace Prize nominee at just 22 years old.

Born to Nigerian grandparents and raised in Los Angeles, Zuriel has transcended boundaries in ways most don’t accomplish in a lifetime. By age 12, she had interviewed 14 heads of state. Before turning 17, she had addressed the UN and been named one of the most powerful women in Africa. Today, she has engaged with over 35 world leaders, presidents and prime ministers alike on policy and development issues that shape our world.

Her advocacy for education, which she views as “fundamental to both development and stability,” has been central to her mission from an early age, creating opportunities for marginalized communities and promoting meaningful change.

Why This Matters Now?

The audacity to do isn’t about reckless abandon, it’s about calculated courage. It’s standing in spaces where none like you have stood before. It’s reshaping narratives long dictated to you. It’s the unwavering belief that action transforms societies.

As Nigeria navigates complex economic and social transitions, we need more doers, fewer talkers. More builders, fewer critics. More fearless innovation, less cautious hesitation.

What to Expect?

This isn’t your typical corporate talk. The Sterling Leadership Series creates an intimate environment where:

  • Real conversations happen – No scripted PR speeches, just authentic dialogue
  • Connections form – Network with purpose among key opinion leaders, business executives, entrepreneurs, academics, and diplomats
  • Ideas transform into action plans – Leave with concrete steps, not just inspiration

The Sterling Leadership Series Legacy?

Since 2018, SLS has connected Sterling leaders and customers with thought leaders who challenge conventional wisdom. Past speakers include literary giant Professor Wole Soyinka, sports legend Segun Odegbami, tech pioneer Dr. Omobola Johnson, and world record holder Tunde Onakoya.

Each quarter, we curate an experience that shifts mindsets and sparks the courage to pioneer new paths.
