Last night, we received confirmation that a staff in our Ilupeju office tested positive for the coronavirus. As of this morning, he was still symptom-free and in good spirits while in isolation. The NCDC has also been in touch with him and will continue to actively monitor developments.

As part of our efforts towards ensuring the safety of our people, we have confirmed that he had no contact with customers. We have also since tested staff he may have come in contact with and they all tested negative.

Consequently, the branch has been shut for immediate deep hygiene cleaning. The Ilupeju Branch will be reopened once the disinfection has been completed.

We urge our customers in the affected area to conduct their transactions using our array of digital channels. Should you require our services from a banking hall, we advise the use of any of our other locations nearest to you.
