Victor’s Story:

Sterling Bank, a prominent financial institution in Nigeria, prioritizes its workforce and fosters an environment where every individual, known as ‘Sterling humans,’ can live their best life, and do their best work. To this effect, Sterling commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, underscoring its steadfast commitment to inclusivity.

The observance of the International Day of Persons With Disabilities at Sterling was more than just a mere ceremony; it encapsulated the bank’s unwavering dedication to embracing diversity.

The Embrace Program at Sterling brought together ten individuals, including Victor, each with distinct disabilities, yet all integrated seamlessly into the bank’s workforce. Victor’s journey mirrors the bank’s unwavering belief in accommodating individuals regardless of their differences.Sterling Bank HQ Reception

Amidst moments of laughter and shared joy, Victor seized the opportunity to recount his journey, highlighting the unwavering support he has received from Sterling since joining the institution seven months ago. The bank’s commitment to inclusivity extended beyond rhetoric; it was evident in ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Conversations during the event shed light on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in securing employment. However, Sterling’s pivotal role in fostering a sense of belonging for Victor stood out conspicuously.

For Victor, Sterling isn’t merely a workplace but a family that embraces differences.

Sterling Bank doesn’t merely articulate its values; it actively embodies them. Victor and his fellow interns aren’t mere symbols; they are integral team members.

For Victor, Sterling Bank indeed is a great place to work.

Warm regards on this International Day of Persons With Disabilities.”
