The pizza has a crispy crust, topped with melted mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, olives, and fresh basil. Beside the pizza, there are dog-shaped biscuits and crumbs. An old-fashioned radio with dials and an antenna sits on the table, next to a warmly lit table lamp. The setting exudes a nostalgic and inviting atmosphere.

Listen, we need to talk about February 2025. And no, not about what you’re thinking. I just discovered some of the most random international days ever, and honestly? I’m kind of obsessed.
You know how some days at work, you’re just diving deep into internet rabbit holes? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me, and boy, did I find some gems! Let me put you onto some of these wild celebrations.

World Pizza Day (February 9)

Hold up – we have an entire day dedicated to pizza? WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?
Quick story: I was chatting with Naya
When I stumbled upon this most underrated international day and I couldn’t help but think to myself, “why didn’t I find this sooner”?

International Darwin Day (February 12)

Now, this one’s for all my science nerds out there! February 12 celebrates Charles Darwin, the guy who figured out how species adapt and evolve over time to survive. While Darwin was out there studying finches and tortoises, I’m sitting here thinking about how my lunch money evolved into my savings. Speaking of which, have you seen how banking has changed? From standing in endless queues to just tapping your phone – if that’s not evolution, I don’t know what is!

World Radio Day (February 13)

Remember when we’d sit with our small radio, waiting forever just to hear that one song we loved? Those were the days! Now we’ve got podcasts, streaming, and whatnot, but nothing beats that rush of excitement when the radio DJ finally played your favorite tune after hours of waiting. It’s like our parents tell us – sometimes the old school ways just hit different.
Quick Question! What song used to make you turn up the volume every time it came on the radio? Drop your answer below! 👇🏽

Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17)

Okay, this one’s actually pretty cool. It’s like the universe is giving us permission to be nice without people thinking we’re weird.
Last year, someone paid for my coffee at the Coffee shop,
and I’m still not over it. Small gesture, big smile!

International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day (February 23)

I’m not making this up! There’s literally a day to appreciate dog biscuits. My dog would approve of this holiday (if I had one). Though I have to wonder – who sat down and decided “you know what we need? A day for dog biscuits.” But hey, who am I to judge?

The Money Talk (Because My Boss Will Read This)

Look, while we’re all out here celebrating these random days, your account doesn’t need to take a hit. Here’s what I do:
Got a fun day coming up? Set up a special savings pot for it. Use the OneBank app to track those “treat yourself” moments
Remember: even small savings add up (just like those pizza slices you keep ordering)

Keep It Real

February might be the shortest month, and yes, everyone’s probably flooding your timeline with Valentine’s plans already. But hey, now you know there’s way more to February than just heart-shaped everything! From pizza celebrations to appreciating dog biscuits (yes, really!), there’s something fun for everyone. Need to chat about your February finances? Naya’s always here to help

Written by someone who should probably be working right now instead of researching random holidays… but hey, content creation is work too, right?
