These Things Should be Banned Header

It’s one thing to hear that Nigeria has finally removed the ban on Twitter after seven whole months and another to mistakenly press the app without checking to see if your VPN is on first… and your Timeline actually loads.

I heard that federal government finally agreed to back down on the ban after seven months of negotiation provided that;

  1. Twitter registers in Nigeria;
  2. Appoints a designated Nigerian representative;
  3. Complies with the Nigerian tax obligations;
  4. Enrolls Nigeria in its portal for direct communications between government officials and Twitter to manage prohibited content that violates Twitter community rules;
  5. Acts with a respectful acknowledgment of Nigerian laws.

Omo e choke o!

Nobody knows exactly what Twitter has done or agreed to, in order to be allowed to work in Nigeria again but they sha tweeted that they are “pleased” to be restored and are “deeply committed to Nigeria”.

Gbam! Now that Twitter is back, here are a few other things that have been on our list for banning. Boya we should come together and do negotiation in 2022;

(Please note that these are my personal opinions and do not reflect the opinions, values, or brand of Sterling as a whole)

  1. Dipping bread inside Tea

Before you edit your Twitter bio to reflect “Enjoyment minister”, you need to ask yourself if you feel fulfilled after traumatizing your bread by dipping it inside tea. Please let’s stop this behavior in 2022 and on Buhari’s internet abeg abeg

  1. Answering Questions with Questions

Petition to ban the answer to “how much is this?” from being “how much you wan pay?” We know you’re a sharp guy so just sharperly leave that nonsense behavior behind you. Don’t worry, your village people aren’t listening

  1. Borrowing from friends and not paying back

Nothing spoils friendship faster than this one. This year, we are preserving all our friendships by avoiding borrow-borrow without payback. So, if you have a friend that is in need of quick cash, just direct them to Specta and they can get up to 5 million Naira in loans at a delicious interest rate.

  1. Waiting until a rainy day before you invest your money

Dorling, don’t wait for a rainy day before you realize that the friends that have been following you to ball since are now busy. It’s always a great idea to check in on i-invest and involve your idle funds in a variety of short and long-term investment opportunities.

  1. Romance without Finance

I don’t even want to hear pem from your mouth! Ma lo fe broke person oh! Don’t go and date broke boyz and girlz! Run for your laif! Thankfully, there are endless opportunities on The Business Hub for you to start, grow and sustain your business. Side hustle is still hustle.

Lastly, this one was not on our list but we really need to come together and ban sufferhead. Your life is for peace and enjoyment so just block any and everyone that tries to give you stress.
