Pitch Summary

Why i believe I deserve this scholarship.

My name is Ibrahim Tahir Enesi, and I am writing this essay with deep hope and sincerity, believing that this scholarship could be the opportunity I have been waiting for to continue my academic journey.

I come from a humble and less privileged background, where even the basics of life have sometimes been a struggle. Growing up, my dream was always to earn a university degree and become a professional in the field of computing. I believe in education as the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty, not just for myself, but for my family and community.

I was once a student at Kogi State University, Anyigba, where I studied with great passion and commitment. Unfortunately, during my final year, I was forced to drop out because I couldn’t afford the school fees. Despite trying different means to raise funds, I couldn’t continue, and it was one of the most painful moments of my life. I still have evidence to show my time at the university and the challenges that led to my withdrawal.

Yet, I have not given up. My desire to complete my education, especially in the field of computing, is still burning. I have continued learning through online platforms, taking free and affordable courses when I can. But I know that to truly make a meaningful impact, I need formal education and a degree.

This scholarship is not just financial support to me, it is a second chance. It is the hope of rewriting my story and becoming a skilled, educated, and resourceful person who can give back to others facing similar struggles. If given this opportunity, I promise to give my best and make the most of it, not just for myself but for everyone who believes in me.

Thank you for considering my story.

Sincerely,
Ibrahim Tahir Enesi
