Pitch Summary

I am nominating myself for this scholarship because I have shown the courage to start with nothing and keep moving forward. After finishing high school in 2022, I found myself at a crossroads. With no immediate funds for university, I asked myself: What can I do with what I have right now? I made the bold decision to begin with what I had. I joined a local tech hub, learned graphic design and UI/UX using shared laptops, and took my first steps into the world of technology.

Since then, I have built and I am still building real solutions: a cloth pairing application, a food tracking tool, and a skill exchange platform. I have organized free graphic design bootcamps in 2023 and 2024, helping others like me who are starting from limited resources. I have also volunteered at events across virtual reality, fashion, agriculture, and Web3 seizing every chance to grow and give back.

I am applying for this Sterling bank scholarship because I am ready. Ready to deepen my knowledge, study computer science, and continue solving problems that matter. I believe I have proven my commitment, resilience, and drive. This opportunity would not just support my education it would multiply the impact I am already working to make.
