I was just beginning to understand myself my voice, my worth, and what I truly wanted from life. I had always been timid and overly self-critical, so building my confidence became a journey of its own.<\/p>\n<p>The idea of pursuing a career in health felt natural. I have always found joy and meaning in comforting others and being a part of their healing process.<\/p>\n<p>But by the age of 23, life had taken a turn I never imagined. I was unemployed, stuck in an abusive marriage, and raising two young children. I remember wondering if life would ever show me its bright side again.<\/p>\n<p>At 25, I found the courage to walk away with my children and start over. Since then, I have faced every day as a single mother doing everything I can to survive and provide a better future for my kids.<\/p>\n<p>Now at 30, I still carry the dream of building a meaningful career in public health. I believe this scholarship could be the key to finally making that dream a reality.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all the challenges, I have shown resilience, grit, and unwavering determination qualities I know will help me thrive in the BSc. Public Health program.
