Pitch Summary

I am nominating myself for this scholarship because I am deeply committed to growth, impact, and service. Pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship at Miva University is a strategic step in scaling the work I currently do in the development space and positioning myself as a social entrepreneur who drives meaningful change, especially in underserved communities.

In the short term, my goal is to deepen my involvement and expand my capacity in the NGOs I work with. I currently volunteer with three incredible organizations:

Ajegunle Business School (Program Manager)

Women in Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) (ICT Facilitator)

Greenplinth Africa (Supervisor – 80 Million Cookstoves Project)

Through these roles, I have trained young entrepreneurs, facilitated digital skills programs for girls, and participated in large-scale sustainability projects that take me into underserved and ghetto communities. These experiences have opened my heart to the realities people face and inspired me to find long-term, scalable solutions through education, innovation, and community engagement.

My core values — love, service, leadership, excellence, faith, and community development — drive everything I do. I believe that leadership is what gives direction to service, and that true impact comes when you empower others. These values have kept me grounded and hopeful, even in moments of self-doubt or burnout.

One of the things I’m most proud of is my recent participation in the Aspire Leadership Program, a nine-week fellowship for first-generation graduates. Despite the demands of my volunteer work and the temptation to quit, I stayed committed and completed the program — and that alone has renewed my belief that I am capable of much more.

If awarded this scholarship, it would be a major turning point in my life. It will relieve the financial burden of pursuing higher education and give me the freedom to focus on what truly matters: learning, growing, and using this knowledge to serve. I believe entrepreneurship is more than business — it’s about designing solutions that meet real human needs. That is exactly what I want to do.

As a proud student of Miva University, I plan to give back by continuing my work in community development, mentoring young leaders, and creating initiatives that bring hope to neglected places. I also look forward to representing Miva with excellence — because I believe that this university is not just a school, but a launchpad.

Thank you for considering my application and for the opportunity to dream bigger.
