Pitch Summary

I am nominating myself for this scholarship because I have a strong passion for education and a deep desire to make meaningful contributions to society through the study of Economics. Due to financial constraints, I was unable to proceed to university after secondary school. Rather than remain idle, I chose to work. I currently serve as an IT technician and social media manager in my workplace — roles that have strengthened my discipline, responsibility, and drive. My interest in Economics is rooted in a desire to understand how financial systems affect lives and how informed economic decisions can drive national growth. I believe that with the right education, I can play a role in addressing some of the socioeconomic challenges in Nigeria. This scholarship would bridge the financial gap that has delayed my academic journey and allow me to focus fully on my studies. I am committed, hardworking, and prepared to make the most of this opportunity if given the chance. Let me know if you want to tweak it for tone (e.g., more emotional, more formal) — but this version is precise, sincere, and well-suited for your application.
