I am nominating myself for the Sterling Beyond Education Scholarship because I believe education is the key that will unlock my future and enable me to create opportunities for others. My name is Echebiri Chidire, I am 19 years old, and I have successfully completed my WAEC/NECO examinations. Despite my determination to further my studies, financial instability has been a major barrier to my dream of becoming a Software Engineer.

From a young age, I have been fascinated by how technology shapes our world—how a single piece of software can connect people, solve complex problems, and create endless possibilities for growth and development. Unfortunately, without access to quality education, my passion risks becoming an unfulfilled dream. This scholarship offers me more than just financial support—it offers hope, direction, and the chance to build a career that can impact lives.

If given this opportunity, I will commit myself fully to mastering software engineering at Miva Open University and use the knowledge gained to solve real problems in my community. Beyond building a career for myself, I plan to teach young people—especially those from less privileged backgrounds—the fundamentals of coding, problem-solving, and creativity, showing them that they too can build meaningful futures through technology.
