I am a 24years old Nigerian who is passionate about technology, creativity, and solving problems using computer applications. I am nominating myself for this scholarship because I have always dreamed of studying Computer Science, but I have not been able to afford it. Getting this scholarship would give me the chance to finally achieve that dream and build a better future.

For years now, I’ve been depressed and struggling because I don’t have the opportunity to study my dream course. This has been a huge burden on me because I know how difficult it is to get a good job without a degree, even though I already have enough certificates outside school.

I work as a computer instructor, and I’m also an animator and visual designer. I am proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, and AI tools. I also have knowledge in web development and data analytics. But I believe that Computer Science will give me the solid foundation and better chance I need, far beyond what visual design and animation alone can offer. It will help me grow my skills in problem solving, contribute more to society, and open up greater opportunities for my future.

This scholarship would take a huge weight off my shoulders by helping me cover my school fees, so I can fully focus on my studies. I am ready to make the most of this opportunity if given the chance.
