Pitch Summary

I’m nominating myself for the Sterling Beyond Education Scholarship because I’m passionate about becoming a nurse through Miva Open University’s B.Sc. Nursing Science program. Growing up in Kainji town in Niger State, I’ve seen healthcare struggles firsthand, this has shown me nurses’ impact. This drives me to provide compassionate care and improve lives.
I’ve worked hard academically, earning good grades, preparing me for nursing’s challenges. I’ve also volunteered at some of my church local outreaches showing my commitment. However, my family’s limited income makes the university unaffordable without help.
Sterling’s mission to empower Nigerians through education inspires me. As a young woman, I want to contribute to healthcare by serving rural communities. This scholarship will let me focus on learning and growing into a skilled nurse. I humbly ask for Sterling’s support and voters’ backing to achieve my dream of making a difference.
