The maxim ‘no one blows your trumpet better than you’ is my conviction. As a young adult living in a local community I shared in the agony of many inhabitants of these places, who as a result of one disease outbreak or the other, couple with little knowledge of either preventive measure or coping mechanisms have to lose the love ones. This pain and the passion for good health and wellbeing are the driving force behind my quest to pursue a course in the public health. However, my socioeconomic status has greatly constrained me to match my aspirations with action. Coming to know of this scheme has not just enliven my spirit but also revived my hopes for better tomorrow.
