Pitch Summary

Why I Deserve to Be Awarded This Scholarship

I’m applying for this scholarship because I believe education is the key to unlocking my potential and Software Engineering is the path I’ve chosen to build a meaningful future. Growing up, I was always curious about how things work behind the scenes especially technology. I started learning on my own with limited resources, building small apps and solving problems for people around me.

Despite financial challenges, I’ve remained committed to growing my skills, spending late nights watching tutorials, practicing code, and joining online communities. I see Software Engineering not just as a career, but as a tool to solve real problems in Nigeria from improving education to creating local job opportunities through tech.

This scholarship would lift a huge burden and allow me to fully focus on learning, building, and contributing. I’m not asking for help out of pity I’m asking for a chance to prove myself. I’m passionate, determined, and ready to use every opportunity to
become someone who creates change through technology.

Thank you for considering my application.
