I didn’t get this far by chance, I got here by staying consistent, even when things weren’t easy. I’m a 300 level student of Banking and Finance at the University of Ibadan, and I’m currently at the Skills Level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). My journey has come with its challenges, especially financially, but I’ve remained focused on building a better future for myself. There have been times when financial pressure made it harder to fully concentrate on my goals, but I’ve continued to push through because I know what I’m working towards. I’m nominating myself because I believe in my potential and I’m ready to keep putting in the work. This scholarship will give me the stability to focus more on my academics and professional growth. In the long run, I want to use my knowledge and skills to create opportunities for others and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s financial sector.
