I completed my WAEC in 2021 with the hope of going straight to university. However, because of financial constraints in my family, I had to wait until my elder sister finished her education before I could begin mine. It was not an easy decision, and it meant putting my own dreams on hold for five years, but I chose not to waste that time. During those years, I discovered and developed my skill in photography. What started as a way to stay productive gradually became both my passion and my profession. Photography taught me discipline, creativity, and consistency. More importantly, it showed me the power of storytelling how a single image can communicate emotion, shape perception, and influence people. That experience strengthened my desire to study Mass Communication and Media Studies. In 2025, determined to move forward academically, I took the necessary steps toward gaining admission and met the required standards. Although I am still awaiting admission, I remain focused, prepared, and confident about the journey ahead. Receiving this scholarship would ease the financial burden on my family and allow me to pursue my education without further delay. I am committed to growing my skills and using media as a tool to inform, inspire, and create positive impact in society. I am nominating myself because my journey so far has taught me resilience, patience, and faith. I am ready for the next chapter.
