My journey has taught me one thing: growth is a choice I must make every single day. I still remember a moment in school when I struggled with a subject that everyone else seemed to understand easily. I went home feeling defeated, but instead of giving up, I made a quiet promise to myself to keep learning, no matter how hard it gets. Since then, I’ve been intentional about upskilling. I take courses, learn new tools, and push myself to grow in every area of my life. Each new skill is a reminder that I am becoming the person I once hoped I could be. I believe I deserve the Sterling Bank Scholarship because I am committed, hungry to learn, and determined to create a future I can be proud of.
