I am nominating myself for this scholarship because I am deeply committed to advancing my education in software engineering, not only for personal fulfillment but also to contribute meaningfully to the tech industry and inspire other women in similar circumstances.

As a married woman and a mother, I have faced unique challenges in balancing family responsibilities with my passion for technology and learning. Despite these challenges, I successfully completed a diploma in Software Engineering a major step that deepened my interest and solidified my desire to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the same field.

This scholarship represents more than just financial support to me it symbolizes hope and opportunity. It would relieve the financial burden that often discourages women like me from completing their academic goals, especially when raising a family. It would also empower me to study without compromising my family’s wellbeing or sacrificing the quality of my education.

I am striving every day to become someone who can stand as proof that motherhood and ambition can coexist. I want my children to look at me and see that perseverance, hard work, and education can open doors to a brighter future. I am also eager to give back by mentoring young girls and women in tech, especially those from similar backgrounds who may feel that their dreams are too far out of reach.

With this scholarship, I will be better positioned to earn my BSc in Software Engineering, strengthen my technical skills, and contribute positively to the digital transformation happening across Africa and the world. I am ready to put in the work and make the most of this opportunity.
